Born in Tokyo and raised on mood music, he has been DJing almost every weekend since the late 1980s. He has held residencies at numerous parties and festivals, including GODFATHER (Ebisu MILK) with Toru Takahashi and Naohiro Ukawa, SLOWMOTION (Aoyama MANIAC LOVE), HOUSE OF LIQUID (LIQUIDROOM), and TAICO CLUB.

At DOMMUNE, where he played the very first DJ set, he has hosted the regular program MOODOMMUNE on an irregular basis. In 2023, he was invited by Ricardo Villalobos to perform at New Kids On Acid, hosted by Perlon, Playhouse, and Robert Johnson. Toward the end of 2024, he was selected to play at the closing party of Berlin’s iconic WATERGATE.

He also handled the sound system design for the deep listening space YON in Jimbocho. His deep house party JYOUKENHANSHA, co-hosted with long-time ally MINODA, has recently reached a perfectly balanced, “just-right” groove.
