Born in London and raised in Japan, Rickey Shannon is a DJ who seamlessly blends Techno and Electro, performing over 300 gigs a year worldwide. As the head of INTER, he has made a name for himself at some of the most renowned clubs and events, both in Japan and internationally.

In July 2023, he released his debut EP, "Persistence", featuring four tracks and a music video, marking a new evolution in his sound. In 2024, he followed up with the singles "Alive" and "Room", both of which generated significant buzz as defining pieces of his deepening sonic identity. His YouTube channel has now surpassed 1 million total views, with 27,000 subscribers.

In 2023 and 2024, he performed a Techno set on the main stage at Saitama Super Arena, captivating an audience of 30,000 people and further expanding his reach. In 2024, he relocated to Barcelona, Spain, to establish a presence in Europe, with upcoming performances on PURE IBIZA RADIO and tour stops in Madrid, Paris, London, and Amsterdam.

Additionally, in the summer of 2024, he organized INTER TOKYO 2024, a festival in Odaiba featuring an all-Japanese lineup. Despite a major typhoon, the event was completely sold out, making a huge impact on the festival scene and becoming one of the most talked-about events of the year.

Rickey Shannon has also collaborated with LAMBORGHINI, adidas, Dr. Martens, and BACARDI, and was recognized by LA WEEKLY as one of "15 Next-Generation Creators".
